COVID 19 Precautions

IMI is now open for limited hours. We are open Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 PM as well as Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 to 11 AM. We are in the process of redoing our entire site and are working on adding exciting new exhibits. We would be happy to show you what fish we have and what we are doing during the posted times. We may also be able to accommodate you at a different time if you call ahead and make reservations. Please be  aware, that due to the COVID 19 guidelines, we do not have interactive exhibits i.e. no touch tank and we have limited access to our grounds. We ask for your patience during this season as we work towards making BIMI better than ever.  As with all businesses, we must adhere to RI regulations as well as Block Island town statutes. Therefore, you must wear a mask on site, self -screen,  and maintain social distances as well as let us keep a log of your visit in case there is a need to do contact tracing.
