Erin Mullen

Director

This is Erin’s second year working at BIMI and she is very excited to be back in her “happy place”, the BIMI Center and Aquarium! Erin graduated from the Coast Guard academy with a B.S. in Marine Environmental Science. She is a Coast Guard veteran with a strong background in living marine resources and environmental protection. Erin’s time sailing the seas has deepened her love of marine life and oceanological sciences. In her free time, she enjoys playing frisbee with her pup, Scout, and being out on the water as much as possible. She is looking forward to sharing her love and passion for the ocean on Block Island!

Cole Judkins

Operations Manager

This is Cole’s first year working for BIMI as the Operations Manager. Cole holds dual bachelor’s degrees from Roger Williams University and has experience breeding several different kinds of marine ornamental fish and invertebrates. He got his start at the Roger Williams University Marine Ornamental Aquaculture Lab and hasn’t looked back since, spending the last couple years helping to build and develop a marine wholesale startup. Growing up on the coast, Cole has always loved to be on the water and is looking forward to bringing that passion to BIMI!
