The Fishing Academy

The Fishing Academy at BIMI provides a safe, fun environment for children ages 6-14 to learn how to fish, or improve on the angling skills they already have. To ensure the best possible experience, we set a limit of 10 students per session. Students should wear beach attire. Sunscreen application prior to arriving at the BIMI departure location is encouraged. 

Meet on the side deck at BIMI (the Aquarium does not open until 9 AM). Van leaves promptly at 8:30 AM. Please arrive 15 minutes early. Waivers must be completed on-line prior to the day of fishing. Please call staff at BIMI at 401-500-3501 if you have any questions.

Rates for one day (3 hours):

• Standard rate: $65.00
• Each additional sibling: $55.00

Available Sessions

Sessions will run from 8:30am-11:30am on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday .

* Please note that all sessions are dependent upon weather conditions. In the event a session is cancelled, we will do our best to accommodate campers on an alternate day/s. Participants will receive a call and/or text either the evening before or by 8 AM in the event of inclement weather.
