BIMI reopens to the public on June 23, 2025

Wednesday-Monday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Tuesdays: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Tuesday Talks: Every Tuesday at 7 PM. Talks will resume in June of 2025.

The outdoor aquarium is closed to the public.  School and group programs/field trips are available beginning in May.

Directions to BIMI

From Old Harbor:

  • From the ferry, take a right onto Water Street and follow all the way to Beach Street.
  • Take a right on Beach Street and then a quick left onto Ocean Avenue.
  • We are on the right, down the hill before Dead Eye Dick’s Restaurant.
